That’s an adorable horseshoe crab hair accessory.
My socks are finished! They’re not perfect and I hate the way the yarn created that huge chunk of yellow but for a first effort, they’re not bad.
I’m going to wear them under my robe at graduation because I can. Suck it, conformity.
i like how in the pokemon anime you can hear birds chirping
shouldnt it instead be like… birds saying their names in the distance

Time and time again, in every medium, I see amateur/newbie authors whine and bitch about how their “art” is theirs and should totally be above criticism because art is subjective and yadda yadda yadda. I can’t help but laugh at these people. Why the fuck are you posting your art publicly if you aren’t mature enough to accept people’s opinions? You better stay inside for the rest of your life, because people outside your front door might (gasp) judge you.
Especially when you’re the type of vain imbecile that will freely accept dick-sucking but thinks negative comments shouldn’t be allowed. Here in the real world, the vast majority of audiences see things in extreme black-and-white with no moderate opinions at all — yes, there are obviously some exceptions, but most people are like that. You can’t just accept positive critiques and ignore negative ones because 99% of the time both of those opinions will be utterly inapplicable. If you genuinely wish to improve yourself, you need to moderate people’s opinions for yourself and decide what criticisms are valid and what positivities are just platitudes. If you aren’t capable of self-criticism and moderation of your own self-esteem, you aren’t cut out to be an artist (at least to a professional level).
